Welcome to the West Sylvan Soccer Club web site,
This is the first time we have our own web site and we are excited to have the chance to reach you. The West Sylvan Soccer Club is a volunteer organization that fields a variety of recreational level soccer teams in the spring and fall for 6th to 8th grade girls and boys ages 12, 13 and 14. We operate as a member of the Portland Youth Soccer Association with the goal of providing excellent coaching to teach our kids how to play and enjoy this wonderful sport.
The WSSC participates in the spring and fall soccer leagues organized by the PYSA. Fall League usually starts the first week of September and finishes on the 3rd week of November, and Spring League takes place in April and May. In the fall, teams practice 2 or 3 times a week with games on Saturdays, and the Spring League usually involves only weekend games.
